Dr. Ghantous received her B.Sc. Degree from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and following that she was awarded a D.M.D. Degree from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel in 2008. She was also awarded a Masters' Degree from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Dr Ghantous is currently a resident at the Maxillo-facial Surgery Department at the Padeh Baruch Medical Center in Poriya, Israel. Her main research interests, include among others, the identification of saliva RNA transcriptomic biomarkers for early diagnosis of oral cancer, the effect of on acidic electrolyte water in reducing peri-implantitis rate among dental implants and identifying possible etiological and carcinogenesis factors in the development of Condylar Hyperplasia.
