Government dentist, for the Dental Services of the Ministry of Health, Cyprus

Dr Persefoni Lambrou was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1964. She studied Dentistry at the Thessaloniki Dental School, of the Aristotle University, from 1982 until 1988. From 1988 until 1990 sheworkedasaprivatedentist. Since the early 1990s she works as a government dentist for the Dental Services of the Ministry of Health. From 1998 until 2001 she studied at the Cyprus International Institute of Management, Nicosia (CIIM) and was offered the title “Master in Public Sector Management (MPSM)”. Her project had the title “A plan to improve the provision of secondary dental treatment to children aged 11 and 12”. From 2005 until 2009 she studied at the Hellenic Open University, and obtained a Master’s Degree in Health Services Management. Her project had the title “Motivation and job satisfaction among medical and nursing staff in the Nicosia General Hospital”. From 2010 until 2015, she attended doctoral studies in the Department of Nursing at the School of Health Sciences of the Cyprus University of Technology. The topic of her thesis is “Professional Practice Environment in Cyprus Public Emergency Departments”.
