Andreas Artopoulos was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece where he qualified in Dental Surgery at the Aristotles University in 2006. Since then he has been practicing general dentistry in London, UK, with a special interest in removable and implant prosthodontics. In 2010 he was awarded a degree of Master of Science in Prosthetic Dentistry and in 2012 he was awarded a degree of Master of Science in Maxillofacial & Craniofacial Technology from King’s College London Dental Institute.Since 2012 Andreas has been teaching in the postgraduate training programmes in Maxillofacial ProstheticRehabilitation at King’s College London and developing his research interests in digital technologies, with a focus on optical 3D imaging techniques, CAD/CAM applications in fabrication of facial prostheses and novel applications of wearable computer devices. Andreas has received awards for presenting his research work by the British Society of Prosthodontics, the European Prosthodontic Association, the Institute of Maxillofacial Prosthetists and Technologists and the International Society for Maxillofacial Rehabilitation.
