Professor Dr. Dr. Alexander Schramm (MD DDS PhD) was born in 1965. In 1994 he graduated from Medical School and in 1996 from the Dental School at the University of Freiburg, Germany. From 1996 until 2000 he took specialist training in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital Freiburg in Germany, with Professor Rainer Schmelzeisen and in Basel in Switzerland, with Professor Jochen Prein and Professor Beat Hammer. In 2000 he passed the specialist examination in Maxillofacial Surgery and specialist examination in Oral Surgery and in 2004 the specialist examination in Regional Plastic Surgery in Germany. In 2004 he wrote his Habilitation (PhD) on computer-assisted maxillofacial surgery.
From 2004 until 2007 he was Vicechairman at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical School of Hannover in Germany with Professor Nils-Claudius Gellrich. Since October 2007 he is the Chairman at the Department of Oral and Plastic Maxillofacial Surgery at the Military Hospital in Ulm, Germany. In 2008 he became Professor at the University of Ulm, Germany. Since March 2015 he is also Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital in Ulm, Germany.
His interest and scientific work is in the area of computer-assisted reconstructive surgery. Aside from various publications and papers he is the author of the first book on “Navigational Surgery of the Facial Skeleton”, which was published 2006 by Springer.

Prof. Kowalski earned his medical degree from the Medical School of the Universidade Federal do Paraná, Brazil (1979). After a 3-year medical residency in Surgical Oncology at A C Camargo Cancer Center. São Paulo, he undertook a one-year Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Hospital Heliópolis, São Paulo. He then obtained an MS degree (1986) and PhD degree (1989) in Otorhinolaryngology from Escola Paulista de Medicina, São Paulo. During his Post-Graduation training he also completed a 6-months Observership in Head and Neck Surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (1988). In 1996 he obtained the academic title of Free-Professor of Oncology at University of São Paulo.

N. Zamboglou

Prof. Nikolaos Zamboglou was born in Limassol in 1949 where he finished school. After having received a DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst) scholarship, he studied Physics at the Technical University of Aachen and received his degree in 1974.
From 1974 – 1977 he conducted his graduate thesis at the Department of Nuclear Research KFA Jülich at the University of Düsseldorf after being granted a KFA scholarship.
Mr. Zamboglou has contributed 137 publications in renowned German and international scientific journals with approximately 1.200 citations. His academic work included also the editing and authorship of 7 books as well as 15 book-chapters in the field of oncology.

Prof. Oded Nahlieli graduated from the Hebrew University Hadassah School of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem. Prof. Nahlieli is the Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Barzilai University Medical Center Ashkelon, Israel, Professor at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev and Professor at the Michigan University USA and Nanjing University China . Since 1993 Prof. Nahlieli began developing the practice of Endoscopy of the salivary glands (Sialoendoscopy) and was one of the pioneers in the field. He has extensive experience in salivary gland endoscopy. He developed a series of endoscopes techniques and specific equipments for minimal invasive procedures in implant dentistry and medicine. He has lectured extensively on his specialty in Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America. Prof. Oded Nahlieli has written more than 100 articles 8 chapters one book and obtained 25 patents, published in the international literature. His articles on Sialoendoscopy and minimal invasive implantology are considered keystones in the modern management of salivary glands inflammatory disorders and dental implantology.
