Respiratory physician

Senior Lecturer at the Medical School of the University of Nicosia – St George’s University of London

Dr. Evgenios Metaxas is a Respiratory physician. He was a awarded his M.D. degree from the Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2003. In 2005 he participated in a mission in Sri-Lanka after the 2005 tsunami as a member of Medecins Du Monde – Chypre. In 2010 he received the National accreditation as a specialist in Respiratory (Pulmonary) Medicine after practising at Evaggelismos General Hospital in Athens, Greece. In 2010 he also received the European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine of the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and a master of science (M.Sc.) degree in “Biostatistics” and he was also a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) student.  Dr Metaxas has been a Senior Lecturer at the Medical School of the University of Nicosia – St George’s University of London since 2014.
