Dr. Vikram Prabhakar obtained his Master’s Degree (MDS) from the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, India in 1995. Over the past 20 years he spent 16 years teaching full-time in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, which included both graduate and postgraduate training. In 2011 he shifted to the UAE and is presently involved in arthroscopic management of TMJ internal derangements, bone augmentation procedures in oral implantology and maxillofacial pathology. He has conducted and has been involved in various research projects and has presented many scientific papers. He has to his credit many clinical publications. Outside of work, he is an avid photographer.
